Infographic

Infographic

Experience Creating the Infographic

Making the infographic was fairly fun and not challenging at all. The project however was very time consuming as we had to make everything on the infographic ourselves. The only picture I did not create myself on this project was the photos of Lebron James and Michael Jordan faces put together, and the photos of the shoes. The hardest part of creating the infographic was putting Lebron and Jordans face together to make them match perfectly. The first step of the project was creating a wireframe for the project to layout the infographic. That was fairly simple as we were given a 11 X 17 infographic and had to draw out our plans. After that we had to implement all of the aspects drawn on our sketch to Adobe Illustrator.

Concept for Infographic

The concept for the infographic was to showcase the best basketball players of all time being Michael Jordan and Lebron James. Another reason I created this infographic was because I was tired of people in the barber shop saying Lebron ain't this, Lebron ain't that, Lebron ain't no hitta. So in hope to get those in my barber shop to stop saying Lebron ain't a hitta I created this to show how Lebon stacks up to Jordan.

Photoshop Tutorials

Final Product

In photoshop I learned the basics on how each tool is used and when to correctly use each tool efficiently. Some key tools that are very useful in photoshop are the clone tool, spot healing brush, and the quick select tool. The clone tool is very important because it can cover up blemishes that are on an image with surrounding background. The spot healing brush is important because it can cover up a messy background and blemishes by blending the surrounding objects. The quick select tool  is useful because it is very helpful in adding a double expose effect as seen in the picture above. The favorite skill i learned throughout these projects was the quick select tool and the clone tool. Both these tools will be very helpful in the future because it allow me to customize photos with my creativity and cover up blemishes easier. My strengths throughout all of this was knowing how to use the tools. My weakness for these assignments was I am a perfectionist and i didn't want to move onto another assignment until every project looked perfect. If I were to change something it would be his dress shirt he has on. I would make the Supreme x Bape logo a little darker to make it pop more. What i would keep the same would be the suit jacket he has on. I would keep the suit jacket the same because I like the black and white effect and the text. Overall I really like doing the challenge portion of the photo shop tutorials (picture above) because it allowed me to use my skills without having to follow another person step-by-step. It also allowed me to show my creativity.

How to write your name in animation

This is a tutorial to show you how to make an animation on how to write your name in photoshop. This is what you should end up with when the project is done .

The first step is to type your name on photoshop. To do this step the text tool has to be used. When you are done typing your name choose a text type that you prefer.
The second step of this project is to start erasing form the last letter. Keep in mind that you should start at the end of the letter instead of writing how the letter is usually written. Only erase a little at a time and duplicate the layer once you are done erasing. Also remember to unhide the layer before so it wont confuse you.
The third step to the project is to repeat step 2 for every letter in your name.

The fourth step once you are done erasing your name is to go to window on the top of photoshop. Once that is clicked on scroll all the way down to the word timeline and click on it.

The fifth step is to click on the dropbox arrow and select create frame animation timeline.
The sixth step is to click on the three lines near the far right of photoshop near all the layers. Once that is clicked on a pop up like this should come up on the screen. Click on the make frames from layers to get all of the layers to be made to frames.
If step six was done correctly all of your frames should of been made to layers and have come up on the bottom of the screen in the timeline. You will realize that all the slides are backwards and to fix this you will again need to go to the three lines located on the far right of photoshop. Click on it to click on the reverse frames.
Now all of your frames are in order and you are ready to present this to who ever you please.
Again this should be your end product. Have fun with the project if you try it. Also to add a little variety add a background. Thanks for reading my tutorial!

10 words that describe me

This is an animation of 10 words that would best describe me. In this project we did something a little different and used a video timeline instead of using the frame by frame time line that we have been previously using for our other projects. The video timeline in my opinion is easier to use than the frame by frame. Another thing we learned in this animation project would be adding a custom picture for our background. thanks for checking out my video!
